A tiered suite of solutions designed to automate and streamline the payroll deduction process, targeting the specific needs of your business.

New integrations include:

Retroactive deduction payroll reporting

A self-service option that eliminates manual workload for HR and reduces the potential for errors.

Retroactive deduction payroll EDI

PlanSource will be able to work with the customer and payroll vendor to create an outbound retroactive file or make changes to existing outbound file in order to electronically transmit payroll adjustments.

Closed Loop Payroll

A thoughtfully designed, configurable payroll reconciliation tool that generates adjustments by detecting deduction variances through the systematic comparison of PlanSource payroll deduction instructions against the Payroll Vendor’s actual deductions withheld each payroll cycle.

HCM & API Updates

UKG updates
  • Filter enhancements to the UKG Stop deduction report gives users the ability to exclude employees who have the same coverage in another plan year, streamlining the reporting process and improving data accuracy.

Paylocity api integration enhancements

We have continued to make enhancements to our integration with Paylocity, aimed at improving data accuracy, transaction logging, and error prevention.

  • Paylocity – log bulk coverage pushes to the API Transaction Tracker
  • Paylocity demographic failures that occur prior to the payload sending to Benefits will be recorded to the API Transaction Tracker.
  • Preventing of test employee coverage transactions from sending over the API.

Enrollment API Updates

PlanSource’s enrollment APIs instantly transmit enrollment data into insurance carrier systems, saving HR teams a significant amount of time, and reducing coverage gaps for employees due to errors associated with manual processes.

The following enhancements are planned for this release:

  • Improvements to OE Dates in Enrollment API Configuration
  • Updates to Transmission Order and Resubmission Order Based on Plan Year
  • Transaction Tracker Updates

For employees using PlanSource to manage their benefits, the new enrollment experience offers a completely redesigned workflow that simplifies the enrollment process and modernizes the experience.

Evidence of Insurability Enhancements

When an employee chooses a life insurance plan that is over the guaranteed issue amount or makes certain changes to their existing benefits, they are required to complete an Evidence of Insurability (EOI) application. This process has often involved printing the application, mailing it back to the carrier, and waiting for them to review. Aside from the long turnaround time, this approach can lead to errors, forms lost in the mail, etc. As a result, employees may end up thinking they have coverage they don’t due to unseen issues.

Our EOI integrations allow for an easy, paperless process for employees to submit documents to carriers and lower turnaround time for approvals. More importantly, errors are less likely, and easier to catch when they happen.
